Malaysia Goverment Initiatives to Increase the Economic & income per capita

For those who did not know, Malaysia goverment have done a lot of initiatives in order to increase the economic and income per capita.Firstly,confronted by the pressures of a contracting global economy and the threat of being caught in the middle-income trap, in 2010 the Malaysian Government unveiled the New Economic Model (NEM) that was needed to transform Malaysia into a high-income nation by 2020.The goal of the NEM, according to Najib, is to "transform the Malaysian economy to become one with high incomes and quality growth" by 2020 At the time of the plan's unveiling in 2010, per capita annual income in Malaysia stood at 23,100 Malaysian ringgit approximately $7,000 in US currency the plan's stated goal is to reach RM49,500 (US$15,000).
Secondly, the government initiatives is Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).
The Economic Transformation Program is an initiative by the Malaysian government to turn Malaysia into a high income economy by the year of 2020. It is managed by the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), an agency under the Prime Minister Department of Malaysia.
Next is the Government Transformation Programme (GTP). The Government Transformation Programme (GTP) is an effort by Malaysia's current Government to address seven key areas concerning the people of the country. In July 2011, a 7th NKRA was announced to address another pressing issue of inflation and rising daily cost of the people. A focused list of projects and initiatives for each NKRA was developed to ensure that big fast results for specific targets are achieved.
Malaysia goverment had done a lot of initiatives that we even do not know about it . So we, as a Malaysian people should help and cooperate with government to achive our goals and mission .
